Marine refinishing

Restoration, refinishing, and cosmetic repair for boats that deserve a careful finish — at the marina, the yard, or at home when conditions allow.

What this work is about

Best Coatings Solutions focuses on gelcoat depth, fiberglass integrity at the surface, paint refinishing, and cosmetic repair. We talk through scope in plain language, protect the areas around the repair, and finish the work so it belongs to the boat. We do not publish prices online.

The marine atmosphere is warm water light, hull gloss, fiberglass curves, and sunlight on a premium finish — shown here with authentic Best Coatings Solutions project photography.

How a marine refinishing project moves

Not every owner sees what happens under a finished surface. This is the disciplined path we follow before the gloss returns.

  1. 01

    Inspection

We assess the damaged area, surrounding finish, and what a careful repair can reasonably achieve.

  2. 02

    Preparation

Surfaces are masked, cleaned, and prepared so the repair stays contained and the surrounding finish stays protected.

  3. 03

    Repair

Gelcoat, fiberglass, or paint work is rebuilt in sequence — addressing what sits underneath when the surface needs it.

  4. 04

    Surface finishing

Levels, textures, and transitions are refined so the repair sits quietly in the hull rather than calling attention to itself.

  5. 05

    Color matching

Color and gloss are matched as closely as practical to the surrounding finish under real light.

  6. 06

    Final inspection

We review the finished surface before delivery and walk through the result with you.
